B-town actress Taapsee Pannu has been winning hearts with her stellar performances and the actress has also managed to carve her niche in the industry. After working together with filmmaker Anubhav Sinha in the film Mulk, Taapsee has once again joined hands with Sinha for his upcoming flick Thappad. As fans have been eagerly waiting for the trailer of Thappad to release since the film had gone on floors, the dates of the Taapsee Pannu starrer directed by Anubhav Sinha is finally out.

Anubhav Sinha's next movie titled 'Thappad' starring Taapsee Pannu will release later this year, the trailer of the movie will be out on the 31st of January. The makers of Thappad will release the trailer of the movie later this week. Not much has been disclosed about the Anubhav Sinha directorial but fans can expect a high on the content quality driven film. Thappad stars Taapsee Pannu, and Pavail Gulati in pivotal roles. Apart from Taapsee and Pavail, the movie has an ensemble cast of Ratna Pathak Shah, Manav Kaul, Dia Mirza, Tanvi Azmi, and Ram Kapoor. The film went on floors on September 6, 2019, and the filming was completed on October 16, 2019. The film Thappad directed by Anubhav Sinha was shot in different places around Uttar Pradesh. Anubhav Sinha's last movie Article 15 starring Ayushmann Khurrana was one of the most critically acclaimed movies of 2019 and touched a topic that is one of the most common social evils in India. 


Meanwhile, Taapsee Pannu recently introduced her character based on the legendary writer Amrita Pritam and shared the release date of the film. Anubhav Sinha’s Thappad is produced by Anubhav Sinha and Bhushan Kumar and is scheduled to release on February 28, 2020
